Kubald is taking responsibility.

Kubald is aware of its responsibility for the environment. The motto „Go Green!“ implies the ambitious goal to design and make all our products environment-friendly in the short term – always keeping a favourable CO2 balance, i.e. the so-called „carbon footprint“, in our minds.

Our efforts also include the uncompromising use of ecologically safe components. Already today, about 80% of Kubald’s products are fitted with long-lived, power-saving LEDs. Wherever possible, conventional fluorescent and neon tubes from our product catalogue will thus be substituted.

But our commitment goes beyond this. Questions regarding the raw materials used in our components, their origin and reusability, the transport to our sites and the impact caused thereby are important criteria which our procurement and material specification teams are taking into account from a very early stage of the design process.

Even today, we only process and use

• products that contain no PVC or mercury compounds
• glass products that contain no arsenics
• essentially products made of highly reusable aluminium
• powder- or coil-coated surfaces containing no solvents whatsoever
• printed boards without bromic compounds
• packaging materials essentially made from recycled materials
• pesticide-free timber from controlled cultivation for packaging purposes
• hired, returnable transport and mounting racks
• packaging made of degradable PE compounds
• environment-friendly adhesives that contain no isocyanates

Rules and regulations conforming to ISO 14001 and their certifications ensure our evidenced day-to-day processing and handling.

In order to maintain our standing among the trend setters for our field of business in the future, we will continue our efforts to improve our ecological performance.

The integrated management system was developed to ensure that the requirements of the DIN EN ISI 9001:2008 quality standard and the EN ISO 14001 standard for the management of environmental resources are met.

Kubald GmbH was certified by the LGA InterCert Zertifizierungsgesellschaft GmbH in conformity with the ISO 9001:2008, SCC and EN ISO 14001 standards.
