Kubald‘s motivated team, led by CEO Alex Kubald, was fascinated to be there for the first time. We made some significant contacts and worked out new business opportunities for the next time. Kubald is proud to have helped the European booth & Food Court to show and shine in such a presence with our signature premium Main Totem, a product that we successfully produce for the European market. Born in 1964 in Stuttgart, Germany, Michael was making his career after his University studies in several sectors as different as textile, healthcare, advertising, architecture and education equipment. Quite a variety though, but his focus was always straightforward: Responsibilty for Finance & Controlling.

With his broad experience he will contribute in making us even more effective and precise. We are excited to work together and to give jointly more power to Kubald and therefore adding additional value to our clients' projects.

Looking closely into it and discussing this subject openly with our key clients, we found the solution in putting the central responsibility for operations – from procurement and technical operations, to production, logistics and delivery, into one hand – into Wolfgang Friese‘s hands. This will give Wolfgang and his team the possibility and short reaction time to make things happen. As promised – just in time.

We are happy that Wolfgang agreed to take this challenge and wish him and his team success – for the benefit of our customers.

Christian is from Timmendorfer Strand. He finished his technical education in 1992 and has worked for McDonald's Germany for 13 years, finally in the position of Department Head of Construction in Northern Germany. He was involved in the implementation of the first McCafés in Germany. With his vast experience at McDonald's Germany he will add value to our Key Account Manager policy. We are happy to welcome him and look forward to a fruitful collaboration.

Kubald, one of the top signmakers in Europe with true global connections, has signed a general cooperation agreement with Panasign from Hangzhou, the biggest and most capable signmaker in China.

Kubald will contribute all its expertise and know-how from 76 years of signmaking as well as its extensive market and networking knowledge to the intended long-term exclusive cooperation.

Panasign, with its 14 years of rapidly growing experience in the field of production, its 130,000 square meters state-of-the-art production plant and the commitment of its workforce of more than 1,300 people, will add significant value in terms of a competitive production and an impressive presence in China.

Upon successful cooperation of the two entities a share exchange is planned in 2012, to underline the serious approach of this JV.

We are convinced that the combination of Europe's know-how, German engineering and China’s number 1 signmaking capacity, will provide an excellent offer for our customers globally.

Iris Fuhlrott for the sourcing. Iris is from Nienburg and has a long experience in the procurement and sourcing side of the professional businesses. With her commercial education she started her careeer in companies in the furniture and textile branches, before working for some trade companies with a strong Asian sourcing presence. With her vast experience in logistics and imports, she really will add value to our customer service policy. We are happy to welcome her and look forward to a fruitful collaboration.

Andreas Müller will support the crew on the project side. Andreas is from Stadthagen, has a technical background and education and has finished his Engineer degree, specialized in building and facility management, in 2009. Future-oriented, his diploma dealt already with energy saving and sustainability. Besides a number of practical sessions in the industry, his latest engagement was a building developer. We feel that with him, we can offer an even better service to our valued McDonald's customers. Fully adopted with this project, Andreas will support the DTLane Project Team for the months to come.
